This is the perfect example. Penn State made our guys look like they'd never made a tackle before.

This is the perfect example. Penn State made our guys look like they'd never made a tackle before.
I was at that game. One of the biggest Arizona football disappointments ever.

But while the tacking was shoddy I admit, PSU hit big play after big play on offense and our D looked a step behind the entire game. Plus, our offense was terrible especially the 2-headed QB Smith/Jenkins combo.

It was a total mismatch from start to end. Still have nightmares about that game because we came into the season with really big expectations.

Yeah. I was on a three day fishing boat out of SD watching it on the TV in the boat. Holy shit what an ass kicking.

UA defensive players thought they could just put a shoulder into the PSU ball carrier and they would go down. Well guess what...

Beginning of the end for Tomey, since he thought he didn't need to recruit that hard anymore, the UA could recruit itself.
