If he's worth it it's a strategic offer because he'll be more available for recruiting once Virginia cans their coach this season.ChooChooCat wrote:
On a side note it does look like we offered a guy who is currently a Virginia LB commit just last night, so maybe there's a connection there?
Who are they using for the 17th and 18th season data? Ted Hendricks? Ray Nitschke?Merkin wrote:I doubt it too. A body can only take so many hits.
Is that a long time away, or in the deep past?azcat49 wrote:Have not Heard of anyone doing that. I know Weaver is set to decide on the 1874th and we are in pretty good shape with him
If you're referring to this tweet, he is talking about the freshman class. It took me a minute, I thought "decommit" at first too.btfd16 wrote:any idea who decommited? Scheer posted something about losing a recruit
So Connolly, Fotu, or Hamilton.azcat49 wrote:Just ask DC, he knew well before Scheer. One of the DLine guys

Yes, and it doesn't look good for the UA's chances of landing either.Folesfor10K wrote:Nyquil and Chase Lucas were at the scum ' s practice saturday
Sounds like we really want these Arizona CC kids. That ex-LSU DT sounds like a monster. 325lbs? lol
Seems awfully odd that Arizona is the only school to have offered Valentine & Garrett.whatisee wrote:Sounds like we really want these Arizona CC kids. That ex-LSU DT sounds like a monster. 325lbs? lol
They were the first to offer. I'm sure there will be more since they're both brand new to re-recruitmentHarvey Specter wrote:Seems awfully odd that Arizona is the only school to have offered Valentine & Garrett.whatisee wrote:Sounds like we really want these Arizona CC kids. And I personally hope they stay away from Lealaimatafao.

Arizona offered 4-star WR Demetric Vance. He's committed to MSU already , so it will be interesting to see what the offer means.
According to Vance we are his 17th offer.whatisee wrote:He's been taking visits and getting offersMerkin wrote:What's this about?

Why isnt John listed on the official roster, is he not practicing with the team? Anyone knowChooChooCat wrote:Wow good call, totally forgot about him.Merkin wrote:Don't forget John Kenny, former Iowa LB/FB will be available next season. Gonna be pretty crowded at LB in 2016.
All transfers for the first year.. Brewer CJ and Devante definitely gave the corners good practice with their year on the scout team..Merkin wrote:Thought I read somewhere that Kenny is going to be on the scout team.

Newportcat wrote:From the sources I have heard he is very committed to Arizona as he really wants to be a QB. That being said, my source who is as good as they come regarding high school football in SoCal, said there is zero chance he will be a Pac-12 QB as doesnt have the mechanics or discipline. Said he is a great athlete but that Modster is a far better QB and should blow him away and force a position change. He thinks Modster is a steal for us and should have a great career at Arizona.
Just his opinion but I trust it.
The real caveat is that it is SC.MrBug708 wrote:Newportcat wrote:From the sources I have heard he is very committed to Arizona as he really wants to be a QB. I agree. The caveat about him at SC is they could sell him in Towns spot now before switching him
and it's Serra. I don't think Tate would believe for a second that they would actually offer him at QB. I think he's smart enough to see they'd switch him by the third week of camp.Scummy Dick Douglas wrote:The real caveat is that it is SC.MrBug708 wrote:Newportcat wrote:From the sources I have heard he is very committed to Arizona as he really wants to be a QB. Not to mention Tate in no way shape or form fits USC's system at QB. At least at Arizona he'd have a shot due to system. Either way I'm surprised SC thinks he's a RB? He's got WR written all over him if QB fails from what I see.catinfl wrote:and it's Serra. I don't think Tate would believe for a second that they would actually offer him at QB. Win the scout team QB job? I'm missing the poison your spitting here.MrBug708 wrote:It was mentioned that USC would want to take two QB's this year. The QB recruit last year, Greene, was the scout team QB last year and probably is a QB this year to mimic QB's like Anu in practice, but will likely make the switch to WR.
Modster is also a better QB prospect than Fink so maybe he thinks he could win that job easier

That's nice, what about the other numerous highly rated QBs USC has/will have on the roster?MrBug708 wrote:Beat out Fink long termChooChooCat wrote:Win the scout team QB job? Browne will be a RS Jr his RS Fr year. Plus I imagine Darnold will be ahead on the depth chart, so wouldn't that mean two guys ahead of him on the depth chart at minimum once he's eligible to play? Also this is USC football we're talking about here. I don't care how drunk Sark is, he'll still be able to land highly rated QBs, so I refuse to be naive and think that he won't have any more high end competition than those two guys and Fink and I have no idea why you would choose to believe that he wouldn't either.MrBug708 wrote:Who Max Browne will be there for the RS year and they have...Darnold.
