Deserve top 10 but I'm thinking 14-16.

I say they should just give us Oregon's rank.

I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say #18

If we were an SEC team: #7

As is 21/22 area.

Beating number 2 team at their house? I say we have to be in the 19-17 range. I would have us higher but you know, east coast and all.

Since we're not in the sec, like #20. If we were in the sec we'd be like #7

Undefeated with the best win in college football. 22 would be a slap in the face.

Anywhere but #3. That killed us in '83.

I'd say 19-22.

Now let's not blow it against usc next week like we did against asu last year after Oregon

It will just be nice to see AZ in the top 25 and not see ASU listed (Unless of course ESPN screws that up)

I'm actually really glad this was an away win. Not just because we'll look better, but there's no rushing the field like last time. The team can take the win and try and just take it in stride.

I would guess the 19-22 range. Remember also that a lot of the voters saw very little or none of the game.

Just a side note, but my wife asked me why the Cats were playing so late, and on a Thursday.

I told her that because our wonderful PAC commissioner wants the PAC to be on nationwide TV, and now he says they are.

Although very few outside of the west coast saw it, and even then most probably turned it off at half time to go to bed.

Then not a fan.

Seriously, how many of these pollsters can be considered to have authoritative opinions on the best teams in the game if they don't watch a game like Thursday's in full?

"I slept through most of it, but I saw enough to keep Oregon ranked ahead of Arizona." Flat-out garbage.

Herein lies the problem: Oregon NEVER should have been ranked #2 with that broken down O-Line and questionable defense. People will now realize this and of course our ranking will reflect it.

Ahead of Sparty, right?

Oregon 46, Sparty 27.

Arizona 31, Oregon 24 ... on the road.

I think we're ranked ahead of any 1-loss team, but one of the lowest ranked of the undefeated. Or that's where we should be. Maybe up to 10 depending how the weekend goes.

Depends on what happens this weekend. If there are not a lot of Top 25 losses we will be in the 20's.

If it's a crazy weekend - high teens.

I say we be rank somewhere in rank: 18 or 22. There is no way there going put us as high as rank 13 or 16 regardless of us knocking off the number 2 team in the country. That like over ranking us. We still got to play USC and UCLA.

Hard to say what Sparty will look like after their home game tomorrow against Nebraska. Oregon has been their only challenge so far. In my opinion, Arizona beats their proven record in either case. I doubt many others will agree.

We're only going to slide in at #20. I hate to think like that, but I mean, we're not the $EC.

Come on guys, you know we wont be ranked and ASSU will even though they got beat by USC. The national media will get confused and cast there vote for ASSU thinking it was Arizona

The highlight packages I'm seeing are Washington's midfield bow, some comment like "that gave Arizona the go ahead score" and Scooby's sack/take-away.

So the narrative is, terrible P12 officials blew it again... handed the game to Arizona.

I'll be blown away if the Cats are higher than #20.

Maybe so but Arizona is a P5 conference team that's 5-0 and just knocked off the #2 team in the country in their house. That's going to be hard to ignore, especially with the "5-0" next to the name in the standing.

As it is now, before they play, Mich State is at #10 with one loss at Oregon. If they win tomorrow, we have to be ranked higher than them, right? Or am I insane?

Doesn't work that way, though it should. First poll should be three or four weeks into the season to eliminate projection bias. Why give teams season-long credit for a ranking they got before playing a single game?

yeah It would be nice if the polls waited until a few weeks in.

As for us...there's been some losses in the top25 today....that should help us vault up.

If Auburn maintains and maybe increases their lead over LSU the Cats will take over LSU's spot.

After today, Saturday, Bloody Saturday? Anywhere from 12 to 25 wouldn't surprise me. Either the voters buy the litany of excuses Oregon has provided (Mariota hurt, O Line hurt, taunting penalty singularity hurt them) and let the poll stay churned with the same players by and large, or we vault everyone outside the top 8 who lost because we are 5-0 and beat a real team on the road and a surprising Cal team.

So what I am saying is I have no f**king idea.
