I don't know, maybe it's the Kool-Aid, but this team feels different then what I'm used to.

I feel the same way, but I've been hesitant to give voice to those feelings for fear of jinxing things.

I would actually be very surprised if we were to lose to USC. I can't remember the last time I felt that way about the football team. I expect them to win, not just hope it happens.

Those guys do a terrific job, but that might be their best effort yet.

Funny you guys should say that as I was at lunch today with a bunch of guys (Bear Down Kitchen as we've ate there every Wed before a game and we obviously can't stop now) and more than one guy said the same thing you guys are saying. I would note that it came from the guys who 99% of the time would say "this is the game we always lose" and today they think we beat SC like a rented mule. Go figure?

And 70 are freshmen and sophomores. This is only the beginning ...

This feeling I have is strange. After the Cal game I did not expect what I saw against Oregon. I also didn't buy it until the second half. That late fumble at the end of the first half was business as usual. But when the came out and continued to play disciplined, hard-nosed defense, and the O got going, I had this feeling we wouldn't lose. This team does seem different. I am still scared to believe it.
