Don't understand why we don't let it all hang out.

What do we have to lose?

At least bb is fucking competitive when they lost.

This is just a makings for a bad hangover.

These type of games are why I'm reluctant to travel to CATS FB games anymore.

Instead of "Do what we do." we're going conservative on offense because... Anu is hurt? That's bullshit if RR tries to tell us that. Play Arizona football no matter who you have to put in. Right now I've only seen Arizona defense. Offensive isn't even here.

Sometimes Miller's "Do what we do." annoys me, but it's better than whatever the fuck we just watched in football.

Well having your O shit the bed is one way to handle that, I guess.
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

At least it was a blowout. Costs the Fiesta but losing dramatically would kill people. Actual people.

A hobbled Anu being the best option reminds me of Lute using a one armed Bret Breilmeier when the Cats had several healthy bigs on the bench.

A blowout is not acceptable to me. If we lose a close game fine, I get it. But getting embarrassed on national TV is not acceptable after all we had to overcome to get here.

KO, actually. Lute would've put in the walk-ons at this point, only Rich Rod starts too many of them.

No it's fans like you that makes us a basketball school. It's fans like you who even ask that question and leave during the 4th when we're losing to Cal. It's fans like you who are part of the fucking problem. This team gave us a fucking amazing season.

Season isn't over yet. You're having a post mortem already and blaming OTHER fans?

Nobody's giving up on this team tonight. Except maybe some of themselves.

Yeah I'm sorry. This is probably the first time we've talked about fair weather fans all season. It's almost like the stadium wasn't empty last year when we started against Oregon and became filled when we were blowing them out. The problem is our attitude as a fan base.

Well the trajectory of the program is sky high. Disappointing tonight and probably good to see you all care than to say oh well.

Frustrated but can't wait for the nowl game and future seasons.

Agree. This is the "Win Small" year of his rebuilding program. We will be OK. This hurts though.

Hear, hear! It's like some of our fans can only accept either

1) We suck
2) We are the national champions

We got our asses handed to us by a BETTER TEAM today. Lets now look forward to a more competitive bowl game and hopefully a win.

Well fuck from the posts in the football sub forum we should just delete the whole football forum! It's a tough game I get that but these kids have busted there ass especially the defense! There was a thread about bearing downing here that made me proud to be a cat! People like to throw out bear down when we are winning but it's on nights like this when it takes on more of meaning! Piss on the program if you want but remember the next time you throw out those words! BEAR DOWN!!!

We're just mad. I don't think anyone is giving up on the team. We'll still watch and cheer during whatever bowl we end up in.

How many teams are going to end their season with double digit wins? 15-ish?

We had an awesome season. And next year might be phenomenal.

Agreed. Only a few of us even dreamed of a 10 win season. And I'd venture to guess they were being very optimistic with their predictions. 10 wins in the hardest division in football is something special. And we will build on it next year.

We had a great season. Even moreso considering the South is ridiculously tough. Just this game left a lot to be desired to put it mildly.

Yep. Above my season projection, most definitely. This regular season will be one for Arizona I think we'll all remember for a long time.

It's just shameful it had to end this way. Hello, Alamo Bowl. Yuck.

We split with Oregone this year. How many teams can say that.

We won 10 games with a FR QB, a FR RB and a receiving corps that is all soph and one SR.

The future is bright, so lets put on some shades and cool the fuck out.

To the OP: 10 wins. Chance for 11 at an elite bowl. Only 3rd year of the RichRod era. Exceeded reasonable expectations.
More to come in the following years. Almost all players continuing to improve every year.
Football takes longer than basketball to build. Miller needed more than 3 to build the program back.
RichRod's goals are Pac12 Champ and National Champ. He will not be satisfied.

After a 10 win season it's time to cancel FB, fire RR and Casteel, save the money and sell season tickets to soccer matches. Rent out Arizona Stadium for Monster Truck Rallies and concerts.

Everyone is very happy with the 10 wins...but it's almost as if people are happy to get demolished on national television.

I'm sure that RR and the entire team got together and made it a point to personally embarrass you and the rest of the Debbie Downers on national tv.

C'mon!!

Sure we had a good season but we are supposed to be division champs and we look like Murray State vs Alabama out there. Sorry, but showing the whole world a dismantling like that does squander some of the good things that came from this otherwise good year.

Again, I look forward to you finding one person who has expressed how "glad" they are with last night's result.

You've created this myth of the Arizona fan who likes seeing the Cats get curb-stomped. Produce this mythological asshole and I'll gladly acknowledge you have a point.

My feelings too Chi. Yeah we screwed the pooch yesterday, and I'm not surprised we lost; just by how lackluster we played on offense and the apparent poor planning. It felt like some of the bowl games of the Stoops era (remember Nebraska in the '09 Holiday Bowl and OSU in the 2010 Alamo?) although I highly doubt we kicked back the past week like we did before the bowl games in the Stoops era.

In the end, we greatly overachieved this year w/things looking up.
