That was a great story my man EJ had about Ty Parten. That was the golden age of Arizona football badass, right down to O-lineman Hichem El-Mashtoub--known to his teammates as, yes, "The Terrorist."

Great article.

As I was scrolling down reading it, I thought that they would probably leave Jay Dobyns, one of my favorite wildcats ever off the list. Great to get to the bottom and see he's number one on offense. I remember a game at ASSU stadium where he was making sky-high finger tip catches and just getting crushed by the ASSU defenders. He'd just keep coming back for more. Talked to him on campus the Monday after the game and he couldn't have been a nicer kid. Skinny unassuming blonde haired kid. You'd just never know what a badass he was. When he was a senior and a pre-season All American candidate, our new quarterback, Jenkins, would never throw to him, preferring to always toss it to his roommate, Jon Horton instead. Just kind of wasted Dobyns potential his senior year.

I wouldn't put Gronkowski on that list at all. Sat out a whole season at Arizona when he could've played.

Real good to see Randy Robbins and Gordon Bunch mentioned also. And Hunley and David Adams certainly deserve their high standing on that list.

Cecil is the baddest of the badasses.

That really surprised me too.

Compare that to Richard Dice (also on the list) who played with a torn ACL.

If it weren't for Dobyns then Dice would be a lock for #1 badass on the offensive side of the ball. Really says something when you knock him to #2 on the list.

Yeah, I do wonder why Chuck Cecil is nowhere on this list.

He's #1 for defense.

Crap. That's what I get for not reading past Jay Dobyns. Sorry and thanks Eebs!
