The Arizona Wildcats have officially added 10 new players to their roster.
As expected, mid-year enrollees Devon Brewer, Darrell Cloy, Alex Kosinski, Jordan Morgan, Jace Whittaker and Sharif Williams are on campus and will be with the UA for spring drills. The Star reported their arrival earlier this month.
Arizona also announced the addition of former Canyon del Oro High School standout David Catalano to the roster. Catalano spent the past four seasons at San Jose State and will join the UA as a graduate transfer. He will be eligible to play right away after finishing his education at San Jose State in December.
Catalano spent his first three years with the Spartans as a defensive lineman, but was moved to the offensive line before last season and will stay there with the Wildcats.
The UA has also added three other players to the roster in kicker Oliver Graybar, running back Jarek Hilgers and offensive lineman Jack Kness-Knezinskis. Kness-Knezinskis played last season at Scottsdale Community College, while Graybar played at Milford Prep Academy in New York with Brewer and Cloy. Hilgers, a Phoenix Desert Vista High School product, began his career at Arizona State.
Catalano, Graybar, Hilgers and Kness-Knezinskis are all walk-ons.
Brewer, Cloy, Morgan, Whittaker and Williams were all members of the 2014 recruiting class for the UA, but waited to enroll for various reasons. All five will have four years of eligibility remaining.
The ten new players join junior college transfers Paul Magloire, Anthony Fotu and Matt Morin on the roster. All total, Arizona will have 13 new players joining the program for the spring.
