100 Days and Counting

Tomorrow the countdown begins.
In 100 days the Wildcats take the field to start the 2015 season. Pretty easy to get really excited for this season. We return last year's FBS leading Freshman QB, a 1375 yard rusher, a 1,000 yard receiver, and the nation's best defensive player as well as being the returning PAC 12 South champions.
If this year's team is going to match or even exceed last year's team we are going to need some players to step up and fill some key roles left by the graduating seniors. The countdown is about looking at every player on the roster and trying to anticipate who is ready to be the next playmaker or even special teams contributor.
5 star scholarship or walk-on, 5th year Senior or Freshman, Coach Rod and his staff are going to play whomever gives us the best chance to win and we are going to look at every player on the team over the next 100 days.
This will be the first countdown for Bear Down Wildcats, so I am open to any ideas you guys may have for improving the countdown format. Here are some options I see.
First, do it just as I posted it at the other site. A new thread and at least one player added each day. The major downside I see is because of the low number of threads on the football board until camp starts the countdown posts will dominate the board over the summer.
Second option would be to group the posts in groups of 10. I'd post 99-90 in one thread tomorrow (still adding a new player to the thread each day) and then start a new thread every 10 days. We would have fewer threads on the board to work around, but the player's names would not be seen in the thread title.
Last option I see would be to start a new sup-forum for the countdown. The football board would stay clean and I'd post daily just like the first option. The biggest problem with this option I see is that any football discussions started by the countdown would not be taking place on the main football board and we would lose the posts once the sub-forum was deleted.
Until there is a consensus to do it differently, I will be starting the countdown tomorrow using the first option.
