Anduze is a 6-4, 235, Freshman defensive lineman or tight end from Central Kitsap HS, Silverdale, WA. A small school athlete, Anduze excelled on both sides of the ball although it looks like Arizona will start him out at tight end. Based off the tape, it's easy to notice why people have labeled Anduze (#86) as an athlete. At Defensive End, Anduze posses a quick first step and a quality rip move to shed blockers. The key for him as a Defensive End prospect is that he wins at the line of scrimmage. When he does not he needs to work on a counter move or two to continually try to shed his blocker.
While he possesses traits to possibly become a Defensive End for Jeff Casteel, he will probably be switched over to the other side of the ball as a Tight End. For one, Anduze possesses natural hands and uses his hands instead of his body to catch the football. His size also makes him a potential mismatch problem at the next level as the Tight End has become all the rage for exploiting potential mismatches on a football field.

89 is also the retired jersey of Ricky Hunley. He was the first Wildcat to receive consensus All-American status and did it twice in 1982 and 1983 as well as being the conference defensive POY as a senior. He had 560 tackles while at Arizona with 31 games of 10 or more tackles before becoming the #7 pick in the draft by the Denver Broncos. He was the first Arizona play selected for the College Football Hall of Fame and is rated by Gimino as the #1 player in Arizona history. So, yeah, kind of a bad ass.
89 is also the Arizona and Freshman FBS record for the most offensive plays in a game for an individual set by Anu Solomon against Cal last year. I sort of, kind of, still remember Anu's 89th play of the game.
