Hemmila is a 6-3, 293, redshirt Junior offensive lineman from Chandler, AZ. He played in every game last year as a reserve lineman and on special teams after being on the scout team as a redshirt Freshman. Hemmila got a lot of the snaps at center this spring and is right at the heart of the center battle when camp opens. It is a wide open battle and the advantages Hemmila brings are experience in the system and the conditioning requirements along with his size. All that is great, but if he wants the starting job he will have to win it on the practice field.
