This needs to be the game where all of the anger and frustration of this season comes out. ASu is in the same boat which should make this mean really passionate performances on both sides. I can't wait.

Just caught the brief audio interview of Cracker on the espn pac 12 blog. This guy seems pretty upbeat after proclaiming this years team was destined for glory. I get that they've been in some close contests, but after listening to that fraud all pre-season touting his squad as world beaters one would think they would be blowing the competition out of the water....
I don't know, if these recent recruit commitments they've landed can't smell the bullshit he's spewing then they're in the perfect place.
I personally will take a coach that looks & sounds like he's ready to punch someone in the throat all week in interviews after a loss. My kid played on a Fall league with a coach like that. "Great effort guys, will get them next time bullshit after a 35-0 ass kicking."
What a fucking clown!

I was hoping to get a worn down ASu team off of four demoralizing losses next week. Looks like that won't be the case.

You must have loved Mackovic, then. He was an acerbic prick after every loss; didn't make any positive difference - except to make fans feel better that they weren't the only miserable ones.
I don't care how a coach acts after a loss... So long as he does not have to act that way very often (I.e., the losing is not habitual).
As for Graham & recruiting... I cannot stand that idiot, and am stunned at the degree to which he has been kicking our ass of late, especially in-state. Maybe those big recruits ASU is getting aren't too sharp; but I'll tell you I am a little tired of our cute little "OKG" strategy.
It was usually the guys that couldn't pull the hotties who claimed that "personality was more important to them, anyway". Sure.

I sure hope we win tonight, because if we can't pull off the upset, that is exactly how ASU will get us at their place next Saturday.

I don't think we can win with Randle playing the whole game, but we can win without Wilson. ASU is not a good football team. Baker will work fine if we have a passing game.

The way to beat ASU is through the air. Their run D is stout, but their secondary is pretty wrecked. Already down one safety, and today they lost Simone for the season.

Anu didn't look good when he was out. He was being escorted and had that far away look in his eyes. I doubt he goes next week

If history is any indication ASU beats us next weekend. Seems every time we win a big November home game against a ranked team we then lose to ASU
Is ANU isn't playing then I think we lose as I just can't trust Randall fully
I would love to beat them and proud of the way our cats played last night

Yup in 2005 2006 2007 and 2013 we had big November home upsets and then went and lost to Asu.

Nope, used up my four years a long time ago and my forty time is probably in the sixes anyway.
My son played for Cienega and is 6'2" and up to 233 working out every day. Maybe I'll have him ask for a tryout.

I can't see how the defense is going to hold asu under 30 points and if Anu does not play, it will be a long game for the Cats. It will look similar to the last time the UofA went up to Tempe.

Depends on which JR shows up. Colorado and WSU JR the Cats make a game of it. Let's not forget BB in 2011

Regardless of who is QB, this game is always unpredictable. I hope RR can get the team refocused after last night and ready to go Saturday. We don't have a great track record against ASu after big upsets.

The issue with Randall against ASU is that they can stop the run and we saw what Utah was able to do to keep Randall in check last night. If he is able to complete a few passes like he did against Colorado, though, then he could be very dangerous. I'm expecting RR to use ASU's aggressiveness against them and try to catch them on the blitzes.

I guess we'll have to play a 3-0-8 defense against the fucktards.

No lbs, Wilson, Solomon and a few other players. Asu is missing one of their starting safeties and maybe a linebacker but that's about it. Their entire offense is healthy.

I am not a betting man but asu favored by only 6 is crazy. I thought the Cats would be about a 14-point underdog.

And yet this is their result. Arizona has been riddled with injuries and hasn't had a bye week, so their struggles are understandable. It gets even more fun for them next year because there isn't another QB on their roster who has thrown a pass in college. Berco has thrown every pass this year except for one by WR Lucien and one on a fake punt.

As of now asu only returns 9 starters next year. Only 3 on offense. Will lose Berco, 4 o linemen and the 3 starting wrs. Next year they play utsa in san antonio and texas tech along with games @usc, @arizona, @washington, @oregon and ucla and utah at home. Who knows what will happen or who will step up for them but 2015 was their year to win big because next year was going to be a slight rebuilding project as is.

Simone was big for ASU against the run, but you are right, he was often exposed in the passing game. He lacked speed & athleticism. That said, the real reason his loss is big is because they were starting a true freshman at the other safety spot, so he was important in making sure the back end of the defense was in position. They are looking at playing a true freshman at Field Safety and a sophomore with half a game of experience at Bandit. With the way ASU blitzes, they leave those guys on the back end on an island.
The ASU secondary has been giving up big plays all season. If Anu is healthy enough to go, UA's passing game could have a field day on Saturday.

Ah the traditional black and copper. Takes me back to the games of years past....weird but its nice to see the Arizona Rattlers play 11 man football now.
