For me this is the last dead Friday of the year. Next week we will have media day news and notes and after that camp will start (no dates yet). Once media day hits, I can see the light at the end of the off-season tunnel.

PAC12.com will have a live stream of media day.
Our Pac-12 Networks live stream (typically behind lock and key for subscribers) will be free for all to watch, no TV provider login required, for both days while our Pac-12 Football Media Day Special airs live from Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. Return to this page between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. each day to follow Pac-12 Football Media Day live. Please note that this Pac-12 Networks "free pass" will only be available at Pac-12.com on a desktop or mobile device; our Pac-12 Now app will require your TV provider username and password as per usual.

Almost football time again! Every July/August I can't help but get pumped up again even though from September through November being an az football fan can be so hard.

Picked to finish fourth in the PAC12 South.

EDIT: Under UCLA, USC, and ASU in that order.

I think ASU will be the surprise dud of the conference. No shocker. But they lose all of their Defense.

The original prediction sounds about right to me. They lose most of their defense, but its not like the cupboard is bare either. They have recruited well on defense (though two of this years key defensive recruits did not qualify, Stuckey and Caldwell). Also, most people don't realize they finished 8th in the PAC in points allowed (reflection of a tougher schedule perhaps?). Outside of a few key playmakers (Sutton, Bradford, and Young), I tend to believe the unit was kind of overrated. The real reason they should still be a threat is the offense, a unit that arguably should be even better than the squad that averaged over 39 pts a game last year.

UCLA has all the press right now, but USC is the team I would not be surprised to see take the South. I also do not agree with the idea that Stanford will take a step back this year. They have arguably the most talented depth of any school in the conference. The guys taking over along both lines are 4 and 5 stars who have had a couple seasons to develop. I believe the North will be won by either UW or Stanford.

Just finished talking with my best friend about college football, the CATS, media day, opening weekend, our trip to UGA at Gamecocks this year, etc etc etc.

Lets just say, I'm officially pumped up for this years college football season!

Fun fact I learned yesterday: A coworker of mine placed DB for Auburn in the early 1980's and 2 years with Dallas Cowboys after college. Love this time of year that we are entering...
