90 Coach Vincent Amey

90 is an open roster spot so I'll look at one of the new coaches since we have already looked at the players who could wear this number.
Amey is entering his first year as a college coach after spending last year as a Wildcat football analyst and the 3 previous years on the strength and conditioning staff. His last on-field coaching experience was as the defensive line coach for Chaparral HS, Phoenix, in 2012.
Amey played college football at a former teacher's college in Tempe, AZ, from 1994-1997 playing in 2 PAC 10 Championship teams, 1 Rose Bowl, and was an All-PAC 10 honorable mention as a Senior. He was drafted by the Oakland Raiders and played in the NFL (1 year), NFL Europe (2 years), and the Arena Football League (8 years).
When Amey was hired in February, Coach Rodriguez had this to say about the new defensive line coach, “I am thrilled to hire Vince to an on-field coaching position. He has strong relationships with our current players, is extremely knowledgeable about the defensive line position and will be another valuable asset for us in recruiting.”
Amey has done the hard work to earn his first college coaching position and his advantage of starting with 4 years of experience on the Arizona staff should have him set up for success. Now he just has to get the players to produce on the field.
903 is the Arizona record for career punt return yards set by Dennis Northcutt from 1996-1999 on 67 returns.
No. 90 Most Consecutive Games Kicking Field Goal, Career: 18, Max Zendejas, 1982-84
