Edited from 87 Days now that Cooper is number 7.
Cooper is a 5-10, 175, wide receiver from Narbonne HS, Harbor City, CA. He committed to Arizona last summer, but several programs tried to lure the speedy receiver away from the Wildcats. Khalil Tate can be given some of the credit for helping us hold on to Cooper. They are close friends, played in the same division in high school and see themselves as a huge offensive duo for the Wildcats.
Cooper should help us stretch the field since his speed is the first thing on every analysis, but he also has shown good blocking skills. Last year he led his team in receptions (47), yards (929), and TDs (14). If he can pick up the system several articles have tabbed him as a guy who could find playing time as a true Freshman.
87 is the number of kickoffs that Casey Skowron had last year. That included 33 touchbacks and 4 out of bounds.
