Wallace is a 5-10, 182, Freshman cornerback from Desert Pines HS, Las Vegas, NV. Wallace started as a Freshman in high school on Varsity then had to take 2 years off of football due to grades. He transferred to Desert Pines HS as a Junior and helped lead the team to a state championship last year. I couldn't find a full explanation of what happened last year, but MaxPreps shows him only having played in 2 games while making 7 tackles and a fumble recovery.
Here is what I do know. After Wallace committed to Arizona we had to work hard to hold off late offers from USC, Oregon, and Nebraska. He is a fast, aggressive corner who is just starting to tap into his potential. Wallace is another of the Freshman who could see the field this year and more importantly he will be the first member of his family to attend college.
The 1945 Wildcats went 5-0 on a limited schedule due to the war. They were Arizona's last undefeated football team.
