McCall is a 6-2, 195, redshirt Senior safety from Tampa, FL. How is the youth movement going in our defense? McCall is a 5th year player with 26 starts over 3 years at both corner and safety and he will have to battle to make the 2 deep at safety.
Last year McCall started 5 games at free safety and had 27 tackles (2 for a loss), 3 pass deflections, 1 forced fumble, and 1 interception in 9 games played. He is behind Isaiah Hayes at free safety and will have competition even for the 2nd spot.
29 is the Arizona record for tackles for a loss for a season shared by Scooby Wright (2014) and Tom Nelson (1968).

Nothing specific about Jarvis in this opinion, but damn. DB's need a stat about how many times they got beat vs. not got beat. Passes defended is useless because you could have ten passes not defended for every one you did defend and the stat wouldn't show. We need football advanced stats. Like pass defended %.

You have something of that sort in the NFL in "Targeted" in defensive stats. There's a site called "CFB Film Room" (who is looking for volunteers for this year to chart games, BTW) dedicated to advanced stats that is slowly building a database of teams. That's one of the stats they keep.

This dude has a hell of a lot of experience to be battling to make the two deep.
