8 Antonio Parks

Parks is a 5-10, 188, redshirt Freshman from East St John HS, New Orleans, LA. Here is a guy who has waited a long time to see the field as a Wildcat. Parks was an early commit for the 2015 class, but due to an ACL injury his Senior year in high school he became a grey shirt. He enrolled early in January 2016, so Parks already has a year and a half learning the system and involved in the S&C program. He will be in the battle for playing time at corner and probably helped himself by grabbing an interception during Saturday's scrimmage.
Parks was an All-State safety in 2014 before having his senior year hampered by injury. I couldn't find his high school stats, but he is an aggressive, hard hitting player who looks to be a disruptive force on the defense. I'm anxious to see our depth chart and have a better idea who has earned the coach's trust during camp.
