Taylor is a 5-6, 184, redshirt Sophomore running back. First the numbers. As a true Freshman, he had a shortened year (thanks Washington) with 261 yards in 4 games on on 6.9 ypc. Last year, as a redshirt Freshman (thanks ncaa), Taylor had 847 yards in 13 games on 5.8 ypc. That got him named co-offensive Freshman of the year for the conference.
Taylor is a human video game that has added muscle to go with his quickness and incredible moves. With defenses focused on Tate, Taylor could have a huge jump in production. He enters the season as the clear 1st string running back. Hopefully, we won't see any more targeting calls when he tries to block guys twice his size.
21 is Chuck Cecil's Arizona record for career interceptions (1984-1987).

That 3rd down run - or should I say crab crawl - to get us a first down was huge. Might have saved the game.
He has been amazing and has allowed us to be effective rushing the ball without Tate's legs.

Never ever figured that a guy listed at 5'6", meaning closer to 5'4" could be an every down back.

Not the first time at Arizona. Remember David Adams?

Good call. Adams to the left, Adams to the right, Adams up the middle.

Well deserved and while Minshew will probably win the offensive POTY award you would think JJ is headed to first team all conference recognition this year

He did finish 6th in the nation in rushing yards and yards per game. Only 6 TDS though sadly. Everyone around him in the rushing stats had like 12-20 TDS.

If JJ keeps this up, he's going to smash the school career rushing record (link also has a good look of his run vs. Colorado)
