20 Darrius Smith

Smith is a 5-9, 175, Freshman running back from Dawson HS, Houston, TX. As a Junior he had 2,150 all-purpose yards (1,700 rushing) and 20 TDs (17 rushing) becoming the district offensive MVP. Smith was also first team all-district as a Senior, but I could not find his season stats. He was a December signee and the only running back in the class, but with the depth at the position Smith will likely redshirt. Here's Brandon Combs analysis from AZ Desert Swarm:
Smith is a shifty back with pretty decent vision to see running lanes open up and burst through the hole. He does possess speed but can be caught from behind by defenders. If he can add about 10 more pounds to his frame and keep his speed and agility he can be a pretty decent player in the future.
20 is the number of rushing TDs Arizona had last year off long plays (20 yards+). Half of those were by Khalil Tate.
