The rumor is just football, but it's still up in the air.

Will Sumlin let football players be basketball walk ons? Stoops wouldn't, but Tomey did. Not sure if it ever came up with RichRod.

Miller could have used some big bodies lately.

The fact that Chief said this gives me great hope that we will land one or more of them. In recruiting news, I've found that whatever he says-the opposite usually happens.

Oh shit I didn’t mean to make a joke about it. Yeah each recruiting class gets a hashtag by most schools now to create a movement on social media

The guy asked in another thread about what the #BlockA20 meant. I candidly thought he was joking so feel bad I did not really answer the question the first time and made a joke of it

Speaking of joke's, how about Sumlin's recruiting and coaching...10th in the Pac 12 and 54th in the country...Yippee Hooray

I was confused about the 20 part because they were using it in tweets about the 19 class.

ASU, Baylor, Boston College, Cal, Iowa State, Kansas State, Louisville, Minnesota, Oklahoma State, Purdue, South Carolina, TCU, Utah, Vanderbilt.

Centering the next signing class around three-stars like these last three commits will fill a lot of gaps and provide depth across the roster.

Miller with P5 offers from Arizona State, Iowa State, Oregon State, and Wisconsin.

With 247 (formerly Scout) ranking Miller at 221 at the position, WR must be the most over inflated recruiting position. It's been this way for years, but what I'm getting at is that with about FIFTY four-star WRs every year, a four-star WR doesn't have the harder to find value as the rarer four star LBs, CBs, and DTs, of which there are only 20-30 each.

I think this Miller kid will be really good. I bet he blows up this season. Hoping we can ink him on LOI day.

I can't express how absolutely awful football recruiting is, especially at Arizona.

Yep I'm sure glad we decided to go with the retread coach who is known for recruiting as opposed to coaching. It'll for sure pay dividends.

Don't know what ranking he is looking at, but Rivals has us at the No. 8 in the average ranking and No. 9 in the overall. Tied at No. 9 total number of recruits too, which deconstrates most likely we will only go up in ranking as the roster is filled. Look who is at the bottom in Rivals, Utah! They only have 5 recruits so far and an average ranking of 1.8 stars compared to our 2.88 average. ...and they won the south last year AND are favored this year.

https://n.rivals.com/team_rankings/2020 ... s/football

What does that mean? That we need to wait it out and see how things turn out come the early signing period. Once we start adding more commits, it will all iron out better than the past few year. Truthfully, I am thrilled so far with 3 OL commits, a QB commit, a RB commit, a WR commit, a TE, commit, and a DB commit. Now that the offense has a great start, I'm more interested in hitting the road and getting the defense in commits coming in.

I saw on the AZDesertSwarm site that Wooten was the Cat's highest rated recruited, at 568th in the nation.

At least to me, our verbals seem to have a higher level of offers than in the past. I think if we don’t get into the top 30 in recruiting rankings I will be disappointed in Sumlin.

And his decommit happens the same day that the best local product (Salpointe) in years commits to Ohio State. :(

We knew he was looking for bigger oceans but man, if someday we could pull things together.
