Peters is a 6-4, 230, redshirt Freshman tight end from Santa Margarita Catholic HS, Coto de Caza, CA. Last year he played in 1 game with 1 catch for a loss of a yard. As a HS Senior he caught 13 passes for 131 yards after missing his Junior season for an achilles injury. Peters' dad John played for the Wildcats in the 80s.

If you are a tight end why would you ever play in a Mazzone or even a RR offense? Good move kid and best of luck

Gunnell, at 6'5", can actually see over the offensive line. It seems that in limited time he has dunked more passes across the middle than Tate has in the past two years. We should see TE's catching more passes now with Gunnell getting more playing time.
