He may be undersized, but he's always shown an good understanding of the game. Not to mention he's a winner. You can't coach that

Already ready for some football. First year ever with indoor practice facility to get out of the monsoon lightning, gotta think our preparation should be more focused.

Our team comes out of DEEP hibernation, with no bowl game following a very uneven season, seems like forever since we've had anything positive with AZ football. The Tate saga last year really was a debacle, and am sure every single person hopes to avoid that (whatever that was) again. That was a toxic mix of a lot of things converging all at once. Sure hope Grant Gunnell has a good camp to light a fire under Tate. And that the coaches have come up with some new stuff in this long dark offseason.

Finally, getting closer to football talk.

First and foremost, beat ASU - We gave the game away last year period.
Then Shut the hell UTAH up! Since winning the south last year, they have arrived and no one can beat them  . I think they are in for a rude awakening.
During the UCLA game, someone needs to accidently tackle Chip Kelly while going out of bounds, then beat them
USC. Bad team last year, fell on their faces. Not many are giving them a chance due to coaching, but if they can corral some of that talent, watch out.
Colorado. the unknown. Just don't get embarrassed and somehow win.

When is the first day of training camp? Can't wait.

Under Sumlin, the only new reports we get are the video availability after practice and any press availability during practice (usually very short and controlled). If you see the coach and player video each day you have 95% of what will be written. 24/7 is opening up their practice observations for free so I recommend you check them out every practice to fill in that last 5%. Here's Scheer's observations from the second practice.
