Johnson is a 6-4, 255, redshirt Sophomore defensive end from Phoenix, AZ.

Yes, I know, Johnson was dismissed from the team in May. But he is still on the roster, so either the guy who keeps track of the roster is incompetent or doesn't care or there is an avenue still open for return. I don't know the right answer. He hasn't had any game time in the first 2 years, so if Johnson is still on the team he will have to work hard to crack the playing rotation.

Interesting to see there is not much interest. He was a 4 star guy who we had to battle to get and now no one wants him? Give the kid a chance

Maybe he's not being given the chance for the obvious reason? Too soon? I fail to see how a guy that size and measurables didn't see the field last season, and doesn't generate interest. There's a rather large elephant in the room everyone is ignoring

Can't speak for Div I athletes, but I don't give a shit what his sexual orientation is. Although I was really hoping he would be the first Div I gay football player to appear in game. UA has been a leader in such things with Snowden and so on.

I imagine Sumlin's phone has been pretty active so I would imagine they do know.

(A) Devaughn Cooper is still on the UA student directory, same with Johnson.

So whatever it was, it was bad enough to get kicked off the team but not out of school.

At least a directional school is interested, although I spent 6 months in SW OK (Altus), longest year of my life.

The only thing I've read is violations of athletic-department policy. No more detail than that.
