Joiner is a 6-1, 210, redshirt Freshman receiver from Cienega HS, Tucson, AZ. He was Arizona's #3 QB last year and saw limited action in 2 games, but Joiner asked to switch to receiver in the off season helping to put one of the team's best athlete's on the field. There have been only very positive reviews about his switch to receiver. Joiner knows the offense and has proven to be a physical receiver with good hands and play making ability after the catch. How good has the transition gone? Joiner is likely to start at slot when the season opens.
