Curry is a 6-2, 206, Freshman receiver from St. Pius X HS, Houston, TX. In 17 games in high school he had 1,946 yards on 153 catches scoring 21 TDs. Curry set a Texas state record with 26 catches in one game. The coach's analysis is pretty straight forward:
"Boobie is a physical, explosive play-maker that will give defense mismatches. His work ethic and passion will make an instant impact in our program. We are very excited to see Boobie develop here at Arizona.”
Curry has lived up to the hype in camp and received praise from both players and coaches. The first depth chart has him listed as a co-starter along with Drew Dixon at one of the wideout spots.
