I'll be happy just beating ASU. But I don't share your optimism on that.

Sumlin fired midseason would surprise me. Correct me if I'm wrong, but his buyout doesn't drop until the New Year right?

The sooner the season ends the sooner Sumlin can be fired and his buyout goes from $7.5M to $5M and a new coach can be hired.

Just beat ASU.

Couldn't've stated my ambitions better. Whittle the buyout, give me some entertaining football, beat some teams we're not supposed to.

I like having two buys. Planning on attending the Oct 9 home game Vs Colorado.

We suck and are one of the worst programs in D1. 3 and 9.

So the replacement for the Vegas bowl since it's becoming a higher level one

Pac-12 (8)
2020-25 lineup:
Rose vs. Big Ten
Alamo vs. Big 12
Las Vegas vs. SEC/Big Ten
Los Angeles vs. Mountain West
Holiday vs. ACC
Redbox vs. Big Ten
Sun vs. ACC
Independence vs. ACC

Changes: The NCAA granted the Pac-12 an additional bowl bid in the new cycle and the Pac-12 is expected to add the Los Angeles Bowl vs. the Mountain West and the Independence Bowl against the ACC. The Pac-12 also will play against either the SEC or the Big Ten in the new Las Vegas Bowl. By adding two bowls, the Pac-12 had to drop one – it’s expected to be the Cheez-It Bowl. The Pac-12 will now have Power 5 opponents in seven of its eight bowls, including three from the ACC and at least two from the Big Ten.

Well it's definitely an improvement over what bowls we had. Now we just need to get a coach that can actually get us to one. Also it's kinda crazy how far the holiday has fallen, for ages it was the #2 bowl just behind the Rose

It's been explained to me that the Independence Bowl is against Army/BYU.

2020: Army vs. Pac-12
2021: BYU vs. C-USA
2022: Army vs. AAC
2023: BYU vs. Pac-12
2024: Army vs. Pac-12
2025: BYU vs. C-USA

Are you pretty much sure that your final result?

Hawaii, Portland State, Texas Tech? Win.

As for PAC 12 play? Stanford, Washington, USC, Oregon, Utah and ASU are all loss regardless.

UCLA, Oregon State and Colorado should be 50/50 win/lose.

To throw in a fit, UA wont fired Kevin Sumlin.

Our new markets motto should be, “ come out to AZ stadium, where social distancing is a Game day event”. Just can’t imagine the numbers we might see attendance wise in college football attendance IF it is played this year

before all of this we are probably only an average like 30 to 35 thousand people per game but if the season starts as normal in September but there are still coronavirus fears and everything I doubt we get more than 10,000 people at games.

At this point I kind of doubt there's going to be college football this year because even if there's any kind of cases going on still in the country in August how are you going to even open college campuses much less play sports?

I'm not even predicting a W for 2020 Arizona football over Bye anymore.

And this fall could present a helluva lot of Bye matchups.

The only person I am aware of on the depth chart behind him is Christian Young and I would argue he probably would have been better on the field and was a much better person off the field. But when your comparing players who are not P5 starting caliber players, I always lean towards the one without baggage.

I've heard rumors of the season starting around February 1st and following a normalish schedule. Like the ASU game would be around the last few days of April and conference championships at the beginning of May and bowl games from mid May until the first week of June.

But I doubt it still, since in February we'll be deep inside another massive breakout of the virus

Read up on the 1918 Spanish Flu and the second wave. But discuss it on the PBR board.

Does not mean it is going to be the same thing. To act like you know what is going to happen in 10 months is completely stupid.

For football, if you have students on campus, how is it different other than travel, to play the games for the student athletes? My predictions at this time is that if students are on campus then the games will be played in fall. The FDA and Fauci said 18 months for a vaccine is the fastest it can possibly be, so how would October (when the training camps would need to start for a January start) be different than July? Reminder that the most important sport in the world by far to have fans at is college football.

Did they even have disinfectant to take in 1918?

All due to bad fans! -- Machina

But true words. UA has not had a sole conference championship since the 1940's Border Conference. Not even in the WAC.

No UA QB has taken a snap in the NFL in the PAC era (1978) until Nick Foles came along, and even then Michigan State and Mike Stoops didn't recognize his talent. If it wasn't for Matt Scott being such a shitty QB Foles might now be working at Buffalo Wild Wings with Willie Tuitama.
