Wright is a 6-2, 197, Freshman receiver from Cardinal Gibbons HS, Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a Senior he had 19 catches for 233 yards and 4 TDs and had multiple D1 offers. It is clear that this year the coaches were recruiting bigger receivers.

That's the problem with low level recruits from far off places (like Ft Lauderdale). If they are no good, you are stuck with them. If they turn out to be talented they are then actively recruited by local schools. What do you think the odds are of him ending up at Miami, FSU, or Florida? Or somewhere in the SEC?

This sucks. Was probably my favorite returning Transfer Portal get for Fisch. Dammit.

Why would he have to sit a year? Normal transfers don't have to sit a year due to Covid, why would someone who was on our team last year?

What I'm saying is he entered the portal and decided to go to MTS. I read somewhere that he didn't actually enroll so therefore never technically left the portal.

I believe it was over on Jason's site. I mean I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time.

He is definitely coming back and he has his scholarship. He never enrolled.

Good to hear. Really like Wrights potential. He was about the only bright spot in the Asu debacle.

I've heard differently about his enrollment, but I guess we'll see.
