Has there been any progress on replacing Rees and/or what the plan is for this year? I know it had been suggested that we have an interim director for a year (I forget the lady's name) and see how that goes.

By now, most of us have probably heard that there's a former tOSU band director looking for a job. There's an interesting article on ESPN today where he says he was working to change the culture of the band, not ignoring the issues. Remember, he'd only been director for 20 months when fired.

I am so glad that Rees is gone. The only thing the "Pride of Arizona" has been for the past decade is a complete snooze-fest. They suck the life out of the stadium at halftime. Maybe the new director can teach them to play something other than the Imperial March during the game.

I think we would be better off having the UA pep band from the basketball games do football as well.
