Doyle, apparently is a better QB than Gunnell but got screwed by Sumlin, Mazzone, Heeke and Roberts because Gunnell's dad has some influence...............................All according to Chief anyway.
Doyle obviously got passed on the depth chart and many thought he would transfer.
With Gunnell leaving, he has a new shot at the starting job, so he is staying.

Reminds me of Nic Costa, an Elite 11 QB at Arizona who couldn't even pass into a net in football camp, and only completed 39% of his passes. Decided he wasn't a QB, and ended up trying to be a WR at Portland State. Not sure he even made the team.

Khalil Tate is the obvious choice for someone who was an athlete but not a QB. I imagine he is out of football.

Ryan O'Hara and Tyler Lyon come to mind of UA QBs that weren't very good.

Be like Jamarye Joiner. Find a position you can play, not necessarily the one you want.

According to Chief every QB on every college and NFL team not named Trevor Lawrence, Joe Burrow or Kevin Doyle sucks and it is all the coaches fault for not getting a good QB. So apparently by that logic there are a lot of great QB's out there that are just waiting to suit up likely working at the local Quicktrip.
