Any Miller type coach. Mid-major, young, eager to prove himself. Don't care who. I think there are many that are doable, but I don't think Heeke is looking for someone like that.

Would Ken N even talk to us again? I'd love to give him a chance but I'm worried Heeke burned that bridge.

Yeah, that seems like a stretch based on what happened last time.

Harsin and Niumatalolo would work for me.

Norvell and Brennan are very new and hard to judge. Not blown away by Sitake. I'd probably rather not on a coordinator.

Really wish Heupel was on the list but I get the sense he wouldn’t touch us with Cordera’s dick.

Agree. Someone young and eager to win. Only problem is recruiting. Has to be able to get some guys, or at least make guys play above their rating.

Oregon DC or Brennan. If we must go experience go after Justin Wilcox who may not like the state of the Cal athletic department.

After that to me go after a Cat alum who is a coordinator or an Associate head coach

I would love to see Joe as our DC but not head coach. That being said I doubt he'd leave his gig up north. I do think we need someone young and hungry wanting to prove himself. Someone that has coached at some level in D1 and preferrably power 5 football. He needs to bring in good recruiting hungry assistants that can coach and motivate. Even if he turns this around and leaves in four years.

Yeah, it's overrated. It's hard enough to hire a good coach without cutting your list.

Meh. I’m sure he loves money as much as the next guy. But we shouldn’t have to pay through the nose to get a coach with his minimal profile. Fuck him and move on.

I'm good with Hill. Took a losing program in what used to be, and historically was, the strongest FCS conference, and turned them into an automatic playoff team. Sure, it's a bigger jump than grabbing someone from a group of 5 school. But we could do much worse.

Especially if he turned us into Utah lite with a better geography. They haven't broken through, but an incredibly well run program with a solid culture? That's exactly what we need.

The coaching change has brought me back after a long long break. I had even forgotten the URL.

Even beyond the coach, I care more for a revamped strength and conditioning program and coordinators that kill it on the recruiting trail. We need to revamp it all, including the mindset.

Like others have said, let's go for a mid-major guy that is hungry and is surrounded by a staff that want to embrace the past players and keep local talent in state. I read that the last top ten AZ kid to stay in state was in 2017. Yikes.

I mean, I get it that you’re trying to troll but at least be good at it Cordy. I expect more* from you.
