Navarro-Silva is a 6-5, 280, Sophomore defensive lineman from Riverside CC, Don Antonio HS, Chino, CA. HIs community college did not play last year, but in 2019 they won the California State Championship with Navarro-Silva making 25 tackles, 5 ½ for a loss, and 2 ½ sacks. He was an all-district and all-region selection in HS.
Here's Brandon Combs analysis from AZ Desert Swarm followed some random College Football Hall of Famer giving his take:
Navarro-Silva is Arizona’s lone JUCO player in this class. And, in my opinion, he is a solid get.
Navarro-Silva was very productive his first season of JUCO. He racked up 40 tackles with 5.5 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks. He played in one of the toughest conferences and on one of the best JUCOs on the West Coast.
He plays with good speed and aggression. There are times he is a little too quick for the offensive lineman to keep up with and that allows him into the backfield and become a problem for the quarterback.
He will need to add a little more weight and continue to develop his pass rushing techniques, but he’s an overall solid addition along the defensive line.
