Conference Realignment

Not sure which forum this belongs in or if its already being discussed here, but hot damn the world of college sports just keeps getting rocked by waves of change. First the NIL and now Texas and Oklahoma leaving the Big XII for the SEC. Rumors of Kansas (and Iowa St?) talking about jumping to the B1G.

Anyone foresee any changes for the Pac-12?

The academics at the remaining Big XII schools are garbage (non-AAU, sub-100 rankings), so I don't see the Pac-12 taking on those teams. But maybe... due to the benefits to college football competitiveness and the expansion into new markets. Especially with the new Pac-12 TV deal looming for 2024 - eyeballs mean dollars right now.

The B1G and the Big XII have expiring media deals in 2023 and 2024 respectively as well... Everyone has to be thinking about how to maximize that next deal, and the SEC power-grab must be amping up the creativity and will to go big.

Any thoughts about where this could take the conference?
