Simpson is a 5-11, 184, Freshman wide receiver from Bloomfield HS, Pawling, NY. Last year he rushed for 1,242 yards and 24 TDs on 105 carries while catching 75 passes for another 1,249 yards and 19 TDs. In addition, he also had 20 tackles (2 for a loss), 10 interceptions, 4 pass break-ups, 2 forced fumbles and a sack. He played at a small school here in CT but he was a human highlight reel. Hoping he will be a diamond in the rough for us.

Not sure why he has such poor offers, even for an OKG, any ideas? 247 has him #2 as prep school athlete.
Up next: Will play football in college, hopes to sign in February ... Currently holds offers from Central Connecticut, Merrimack and Wagner.

His size and the fact he played in Class S (small schools) here in CT so the competition wasn't too stiff.

Heard he has impressed in Practice. Only Singer looks to be ahead of him from the freshman class. He looks like he will be a terror in the slot
