Big point is, if you arrive early you can watch the last 30 min of practice which is usually the live work. I am not sure I will be able to make it, but would love to hear a breakdown of the last 30 min of practice if anyone goes tonight.

This may be the last chance to watch the team before we take the field in 14 days.

Looks cool! I drove through the U of A yesterday and saw some of the players. Looking sharp.

In limited scrimmage time, Anu looked the best.

Brewer and Scroggins both missed easy passes and over threw open receivers. Anu seemed to have the best handle and made a few pretty good passes and run plays.

The defense looks improved without a doubt.

Neal can PLAY. He's good.

My son and I went, but we were running late and missed the scrimmage. :(

Grabbed some posters and got a few autographs (Austin, Davonte, Trey, Trevor Wood) before we took off.

My son and Davonte joked around a little bit. His Chaparral team beat my son's Cienega team in the state championship a few years back,
and Davonte lit them up.

He seems like a good kid-very personable. (My previous image of him was for getting thrown out of that game for trash talking.)

Solomon did indeed look the best in the short time I was able to watch. One thing I noticed is that he looks like he's playing with a lot more purpose. His movements from the snap, stepping back away from center after the snap and executing the play are all very quick and crisp. It looks like he sees the field well and gets a good feel for the flow of things. I can see some growing pains this year but I think as his career progresses he's gonna be really good.
