Bear Down Wildcats

Simpson is a 5-11, 205, Sophomore wide receiver from Pawling, NY. He played in the final 7 games last year and started against Cal and asu with 4 catches for 46 yards for the year.

During camp Simpson won the #1 jersey for offense and special teams. Here's Coach Fisch's quote on the move,“We made a decision that Anthony Simpson has done an incredible job on special teams. He’s committed to being a four-core guy.

Anytime we had a receiver down he took it. He took the F rep, the Z rep, the X rep, and did a great job at it. Gave unbelievable effort. He’s without a question the first guy in at any position at wide receiver, and then in addition he’s gonna be a huge special teams players so we thought he was the right guy for it this year.”

In addition, Fisch said Simpson runs 6,000 yards a practice because of all of his different assignments and finished first in every offseason category.

I missed it if someone asked Fisch what the team's four-core are and what are the various offseason categories.

Simpson will be the #2 wide receiver behind Singer and also a big part of special teams.
