Cowing is a 5-11, 175, Junior wide receiver from UTEP and Maricopa, AZ. Coach Fisch calls Cowing the most important addition to the team. Last year, he had 69 catches for 1,354 yards and 7 TDs earning 1st team all-conference honors at UTEP and led his team for 3 years straight in receiving. He is on the watch list for every receiver award and may be the best player on the team. Cowing is going to be fun to watch this year.
Nice having both Cowing and T-Mac out there at the same time. Can't cover them both and now the Cats have a QB that can get them the ball.

Singer had his troubles with a easy catch drop and a fumble but the three of them are a tough combo to guard and as teams game plan to stop them should open up spots for a 4th WR or TE or RB to attack in the passing game.

I hope we go 5 wide a few times this game and put Cowing and Speedy in the slot on opposite sides. Good luck with that opponents

Had no idea he was this good. JFC. He's a Northcutt and Wade hybrid. Not as elusive as Dennis and probably not quite as crafty as Bobby, but man what a combo.

That kid went to Maricopa high school and neither UofA or ASU offered him. UTEP was his only D1 offer I heard.
