I'd take UA and the points seeing the Huskies defensive problems.

Washington pounds with its running game, and spreads in out with the passing game. Fairly big physical defense, although they’ve had their problems. A pretty good kicking game. After a couple of easy non-conference games, they beat 2-4 Michigan St and 1-4 Stanford before the two straight road losses at UCLA and ASU. No doubt they were very disappointed in the ASU outcome, and they’re looking forward to returning home and expecting a W against Arizona. They’ve averaged 37 PPG against their last 4 opponents, which is a scary thought, considering our defense. They’ve also averaged giving up 34 PPG in that period, so we’ll no doubt score a few times. It’s just whether we can keep up over the course of a long game, and whether we’d have any chance to hold them late in a close game. Weather looks fine. 70s, partly cloudy, and low chance of rain.

That seems to be too many points. JDL has had a bounce back game after every loss. Biggest issue as we all know is our defense. We controlled them pretty well last year but this offense is different

I feel like the final score will look a lot like the score this past week against Oregon, but that we’ll still be in the game in the second half before the Huskies put us away late. This defense just isn’t at a point where they can get enough stops late against good teams.

Certainly nothing we have done would disprove that but UDubs defense is all banged up. They had several freshman on the field against the scum and that’s why they lit the dawgs up. Should be a high scoring affair

It show be closer than the Oregon game and we should be competitive.
My bigger concern is we don't normally play well in Seattle.

A really pissed off and pretty talented Washington squad..coming home. And we usually suck in Seattle. Um yea..

It won’t be a packed stadium. The Mariners playing their 1st playoff game at home on Saturday is a big deal for Seattle area. It doesn’t matter it’s at the same time or not.

If Arizona is to beat Washington tomorrow, they'll have to take their cue from how Arizona State was able to upset the Huskies last Saturday in a high scoring game.
Washington is very thin in their secondary. Through stretches of the game the Huskies were rotating in four different freshman into the Safety and Corner positions, which plays into the strength of setting our WRs free in our pass happy offense.
On the other side of the ball, Washington will be able to put up points, even if Penix's injuries continue to catch up with him. Washington's backups are experienced are able to pick apart our defense.

You do realize we have like 2 Pac-12 wins in the last 3 years right?
I certainly think we are trending in the right direction...but I'm not expecting any wins in the next month.

I'm at the same position as I've been many times in the past few years. Thinking we'll get beat but hoping I'm wrong.
Washington just has to run the ball and will roll us.

Loser talk and expecting to lose a game are two complete separate things

Predicting a loss does not equal wanting to lose.
I'm always happy to be wrong on predicting my team's losing

Not sure I get what is being debated here? We all know everyone on this board wants us to win but winning on the road is very tough. Picking UDub or any of our next three opponents to win is not loser talk in my mind. It’s simply analyzing the game and saying we are an underdog and it will be tough to win.
We are just one year into this monumental rebuild. Each year with a more talented group of recruits we will be better and not be double digit underdogs in every freaking game

I have hope but not expectation.
Cats need three things:
1. Aggressiveness on offense - we have the weapons to put Washington on their heals
2. Combine that with we need Washington's defense to fall apart, as they did last weekend Vs ASU. At one point four freshman were playing in the secondary. That's a weakness our offense is suited to exploit.
3. Need Washington's offense to commit a few enforced turnovers, which also happened last weekend Vs ASU.
We get all three maybe we come away with a 42-35 type of win.

I think gwh is in Spokane, so hopefully it's not as bad in Seattle. Mariners playing a home game right now.
EDIT: Maybe I was thinking of gumby?

Gumby is in Spokane so perhaps so. Believe GWH is in Bellingham or around there.

Bellingham is correct. The air is worse down in the Metroplex.
