The website dishsportsvalue.com says the following:

Unfortunately, you’re visiting this website because a FOX Sports 1 event is not available on DISH. FOX agreed to pay an inflated price for certain sports events on FOX Sports 1. Now, FOX is demanding we pay them a significant additional charge to carry these events. We are unwilling to pass these costs on to our customers.

I don't think you can hang this one on Larry Scott. This is between Fox Sports 1 and Dish.

If you didn't have that login you'd leave directv in a heartbeat.

Although I'm currently mad at dish since the hard drive on my hopper dvr is corrupted and won't record anymore and has deleted my entire dvr list 4 times in the past 4 months. (New one will arrive Monday)

Oh of course I would, but not having P12 certainly helps when I try to cancel every August before football season and they entice me not to.

How do you like the Hopper (when it's working)? I've heard good and bad about it and I'm genuinely curious.

Well I don't use the primetime recording thing but this dvr has way more space than my directv one had. Worked great until 4 months ago. Overall I prefer dish a little to directv

The hopper allows you to watch tv on mobile devices, to include stuff you have dvr'ed. I used it to watch football and basketball live even on the road last year when I wasn't driving. It is great in that respect. It also allows you to watch something besides what is being recorded, a step up from the previous dvr that dish had available.

This is a bitch because I'm moving in a couple of weeks and I was going to take the opportunity to cut Directv loose after 9 years and switch to Dish. I want the Pac-12 Network, but I hate to trade one batch of games I can't watch for another. Pain in the ass.

I just scrolled through my guide on Dish to see which games are gonna be on. Every college football game on fox sports 1 this coming weekend starting with Rutgers-Washington State says 'Event not Available'.

This f'ing enrages me. Everytime I make a TV provider adjustment to get what I need, some other bulls*%# like this comes up. Obviously the UTSA game is the on that pisses me off the most but being a total college football junkie, it also bugs me that I can't watch the other games. And if this drags on, it'll screw us with hoops too as I seem to recall a handful of our games being on fs1.

I buy the sports package and can't get one of the main sports channels. F#%^ all these management pricks on both sides.

Looks like dispute resolved:

The Dish Network and Fox Sports 1, the cable arm of Fox Sports that premiered nationally 13 months ago, have reached a financial agreement regarding college-football coverage.

The network will air Friday night's Colorado-Colorado State game.

Even though the dispute is supposedly resolved, the UTSA game still shows as "this event is not available" in the Dish guide. Anyone else able to see it on dish?

Mine shows not available as well. Confused.

Mine shows that it is all good to go. It was also good last weekend. Is it a region thing?

I wonder if this has anything to do with Dish not being an avaiilable carrier to log in to Fox Sports Go?

I watched the entire game on Dish.
