As bad as Florida looks and if Fisch has a good year, we might see the Gators gauging his interest

You don’t trust the numbers he is giving us from the AD or that he won’t be fair to the UofA in general?

Browsing the available seats from arizonawildcats.com I'd buy that number, easily.

We may sell 50k seats but not that many will show up. But 40k in this day in age with our history lately will still be impressive

I'm amazed anyone wants to show up to watch these two bottom feeders. Not sure I can support a team that allows a player like Delaura to play. Absolutely disgraceful. Go Lumberjacks!

I don't trust him in general. On his pod he makes so many mistakes that would take 3 seconds to research. Also in thr past he has shown himself to be a bit unprofessional. I know people who know him personally and they all love the guy. A lot like someone else.

If Spears can cut down on the mistakes like that he can gain my trust

I don’t like Spears because he used to follow the FESPN line of the Richardson fiasco was a pay to play scheme by Miller.

Don't want to go all the way to Encinitas.

Let's not get over our skis here. He has won 6 games as a head coach. That would be quite the gamble. Fisch has done everything right as far as dealing with the publi/press, involving the alums, some good recruiting gets but we/he needs to turn those into wins.

Gator fans' heads would explode if they hired a FSU alum. As for Fisch, team still makes too many silly mistakes. We should be winning by 28 or more at half if we play a clean, smart game. Instead, we're only up by 11.

Always packed so trying to get there during one of my visits to see my daughter. Heard it was amazing too.

I know it’s the wrong thread but I’m exhausted from yesterday. The UM dance team first had a tailgate event at 7:00am. Then they performed with the band at 9:30. Then followed them to the stadium where one of the parents had another tailgate. Then got inside the stadium to watch their pregame routines. Oh and I was selected to film everything during the game including halftime. It was a noon kickoff and by the time it was over and picked her up outside the stadium I needed a nap - and it was only 4:00pm.

Had some food, took a short snooze and then caught the Arizona game.

Quite a long day…

I know

Don't think anybody can bitch about 38-3. Throughout history, many teams have started out slow and improved over the season. Running up the score to 70 or 80 points (Hi, Oregon) on some overmatched team doesn't buy very much. On defense, we kept NAU out of the end zone and only gave up a 49 yard FG. The line disparity was obvious. On offense, we pushed them around with a generally vanilla approach, along with the turnovers we need to clean up. And de Laura needs to protect himself more. Kicking game with the blocked kick run-back was good, although we don't need Loop trying to deliver "punishing" hits on kickoff coverage and getting himself hurt. So Pulido scraped himself up on a bike fall, Stukes got hurt, and Maldonado's out for the first half next week for targeting, otherwise we're healthy. After their "greatest all-time win," NAU got overpowered and outclassed when both coaches had established their mature programs. Message sent and all mission goals accomplished. On to the next one.

The reality is that the game could have easily been 28-0 at the half if not for a couple of plays. Glad they didn't let that disappointment fester and took care of them pretty handedly in the 2nd half.

Agree with your reasoning. There is still plenty we can improve on moving forward:

1) Gap control on defense
2) We had a few blown coverages
3) Stupid penalties
4) JDL threw a couple of questionable passes

Do not underestimate UA fans, however. I am sure there are delusional fans out there who think we should have won 77-0.

Speaking of delusional idiots where's Chief???

5 star Flowe gets 10 snaps and a 61 rating. 4 star Heimuli gets 48 snaps and comes in at 63.4. Meanwhile 3 star Manu plays 53 snaps and grades out the highest at 77.7

Going to be interesting to see this weeks numbers from those guys
