It's pretty clear to me that Anu is starting against UNlV. The only surprises to me is the fact that there are not more "or's" with the running backs. I like seeing Calvin Allen in the backup roll. Nice to have some of these freshman defense line starting to stay, instead of having issues.

Bondurant is missing off of the 2 deep as well.

Only surprise is that Baker is not on the 3 deep at RB and Haden is listed as a receiver.

Since the QBs are not in alphabetical order, it seems Solomon will probably start.

That was my biggest "huh?" moment. How do you not put Neal and Johnson back there? Maybe saving that for the PAC-12 season?

Also, saw one new player on the roster - Christian Boettcher. Walk on Freshman O-lineman from Desert Mountain HS, Scottsdale.

That's disappointing that Baker couldn't win the starting job. I had so much hope for him when he committed to us a few years ago. Looks like the injury really set him back. I hope that he can improve as the season moves along and challenge for one of the top spots.

Biggest surprise to me is that Phillips isn't listed to start and be on the field at the same time as Hill, Jones, and Neal. Freshman All_American and he's named as a co-starter. Sheesh.

I am not worried about who the starters are at receiver. They are going to be platooning and matched in a variety of combinations. High tempo office with continually refreshed receivers = trouble for the defensive backs and points for us.

There are always going to be playmakers catching balls for us and it is going to be a lot of fun.

I don't beleive for one second Baker is the number 4. I think with his knee they want to limit and hold back his carries until the conference games start. Give those other guys some work and experience.

I think we see alot of Baker this year and lets all hope his knee holds up

Dawkins has been suspended and Melvin has been declared academically ineligible for the rest of the year. Our NG position is getting thinner by the day.
