Wade is back home where he belongs! It is great to have Arizona's record holder in career receiving yards back to coach the best receiver in school history.
Wade graduated in 2002 after catching 230 passes for 3,351 yards and 23 TDs. He was an All-American in 2002, a 2 time PAC-12 First Team, and was inducted into the Arizona Ring of Honor in 2015. Wade was a fifth round NFL draft pick by The Bears and spent 7 years in the league with 244 catches for 2,858 yards and 9 TDs.
He spent 2 years coaching wide receivers at Ceasar Chavez High School in Phoenix and the last 5 years at an obscure teacher's college in Tempe. Wade has great ties to Arizona youth and high school football and should be an excellent asset for in-state recruiting.
Arizona attempted 464 passes last year completing 332 with 11 interceptions. Last year at SJSU they attempted 375 passes with 230 completions and 4 interceptions. Finally, Syracuse attempted 316 passes for 192 receptions and 15 interceptions.
