Wicks is a 6-2, 200, Freshman defensive back from IMG Academy and Oakland, CA. He is an unranked athlete who was on the coaching staff's radar because he played at Bishop O'Dowd in northern California before moving to IMG Academy.
Both Michael Wiley and DJ Williams averaged 31 yards per game rushing last year as Arizona's 2nd and 3rd RB. Quali Conley as SJSU #2 RB averaged 65 yards per game.
