11 Noah Fifita

Fifita is a 5-10, 188, redshirt Sophomore quarterback from Huntington Beach, CA. The former coach put together last year's team, but it is clear that it is Fifita who changed the season and led Arizona to a 10-3 record. Maybe more importantly, he was key to keeping the team together after the coaching change.
He did not start the first 4 games and still managed to earn Football Writer's National Offensive Freshman of the Year, PAC12 Offensive Freshman of the Year, along with every weekly award possible. Fifita set an Arizona record by completing 72% of his passes and was top 5 nationally in every QB metric among Freshmen including the highest rating of 165.9. Fifita has everything you could ask for in a quarterback except height.
Do you want to get really excited about this year? All reports are that Fifita is looking much better in camp then he did last year. Better command of the offense, stronger arm, and the unquestioned leader of the team. His buddy T-Mac may be the better NFL prospect, but Fifita is the most important player on the team.
Enjoy the ride. Fifita's actions on and off the field are the making of an Arizona legend.
This is a long, sometimes good and sometimes strange interview, but if you jump to the 54 minute mark Noah talks about his (and our) dream season.
T-Mac's 11 catches against the scum was the most by an Arizona player last season.
