Garcia is a 6-2, 193, redshirt Freshman quarterback transfer from San Jose State and Sacramento, CA. He did not play in 1 year at SJSU. At Capital Christian High School Garcia as a Senior Garcia threw for 34 TDs, ran in 5 more, and only threw 4 picks. He came to Arizona to provide extra depth to the QB room.
Michael Wiley led Arizona running backs last season with 8 TDs. Jacory Croskey-Merritt had 17 TDs last year for New Mexico and Quali Conley had 9 TDs for SJSU.
