Good tact. Powell has impressed me the last few years. With the exception of Alford, I don't dislike their players.
It was also the way it was on goazcats during his tenure there when Howland was going to FF's.
As I said, it's part of every fan base. He just likes to troll on twitter and is getting a lot of blow back. It's just twitter, unless he's reading something like BN. Did you guys not flame ASU fans at every turn during the Mack and Stoops era despite not winning very often?

It tells me that most UCLA fans have very little respect for the job Sean Miller has done at Arizona and don't see the Wildcats as the conference's best program.
They just think their AD is a buffoon who can't make a good hire, and the Bruins will be right back on top again as soon as the boosters right the ship.
Between them and the rest of the conference just looking for petty, venal ways to bring Arizona down all season, it's worth reiterating: The Pac-12 does not prepare teams to go deep into the NCAA tournament.

Are we talking about flaming fans or flaming a team? Are you saying Scheer is mad about stuff on UCLA message boards?
I could give a rat's ass what you guys are saying about us on your message board. But if you are tweeting stuff publicly and at Scheer, or posting on an Arizona board, that's
just sour grapes low class BS.

Are you saying there are low class fans in every fan base but yours then? I was checking out the PAC-12 facebook feed last night after UCLA's loss and there were both positive and negative comments directed at UCLA from Arizona fans. It's what it is and I won't lie, it was fun watching the USC fans have the best moment of their season, but I didnt see the need to get on twitter and comment about it. And I'm not the face of a scout site either.
I also wouldnt fake some mock outrage and call it low class BS either. But I'm not as sensitive

I just said I don't care what people say on their own message boards. If Arizona fans were posting crap on some feed last night that's low class too.
Looking through the top 60 recruits for 2016 on ESPN this morning something occurred to me:
The eleventh rated prospect in 2016 ( 5 star PG Lonzo Ball-UCLA commit) is a point guard commit that will arrive on UCLA's campus for Bryce's senior year.
It's still a bit in the future, but that will be fun to watch. It'll be a nepotism v. 5 star throw down!

Bryce starts no matter what.
Heh.
And how do you think the one and done 5 star PG recruit is going to like that?

I don't think I've been less surprised by a transfer.

/preorders his popcorn
Look, Bryce Alford is UCLA basketball. It's always been this way, and always will be.

You're only saying that because his name is Wanna Bail?
Pretty much. I'm easily amused when it's the off season and not much is going on.

Plus having a SR IHam, SO Aaron Holiday, and SO Prince Ali, all basically for two spots, though Ball could probably play 1-3
I doubt UCLA is in it for Zimmerman. I think UCLA believes they are getting Brown, but no one really knows. Let's see what ADIDAS does for UCLA this year

Yeah I'm not so worried about that other stuff.
I'm interested in, when the first game of the season begins, who starts with the ball in their hands as the point guard.
4th year nepotism or 5 star 1 and done #11 rated in the class point guard.
But that's a bit in the future for now, so we'll just keep that in the back of our minds until then.
UCLA lands 2017 kid, Li"Angelo Ball, brother of 5 star PG, Lonzo Ball. They probably won't play together and he's a borderline talent for the PAC-12, but after watching Noah Allen, he can't be any worse. We might to the Gran Jerrett bait and switch, but there is a cousin in 8th grade whose probably a elite prospect down the line, so we'll see.
If there was a time machine that Dan Guerrero could jump in and make the right hire to lead that program . . . maybe.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?
