No, I know. I figured that was why you said technically.

You start forcibly redshirting kids and say goodbye to them and hello to it being used against you in recruiting.

Zeus, Dusan
Anderson, Comanche
Smith
York, Trier, Pitts, Allen
PCJ, Simon

If Stanley comes back, add him and we have 12. If we land the SF grad transfer, 13. I think it takes both of those to happen for Comanche to redshirt.

Tarc's return dramatically changes the outlook for next year's team. We're solidly in the top 15, maybe top 10. And if SJ returns too (which I doubt), we're top 5.

Love this lineup:

Gabe
PJC
Smith
Anderson
Tarc

I also wonder if Sean will try to put Tarc and Ristic on the floor at the same time against bigger teams.

We can go big or small. Love it!

Interesting to see which of Trier or Smith starts.

I like this depth chart:
PJC, Simon
York, Trier, Pitts
Johnson, Smith
Anderson, Rabb
Tarc, Ristic, Comanche

EDIT: And welcome back, Zeus! This is very, very good for us.

Chad Ford's take:
Kaleb Tarczewski, C, Jr., Arizona
Tarczewski has always looked the part of an NBA center. Blessed with size and good athleticism, he has the physical tools to be a very good NBA big man. But his production in three years at Arizona has been lacking and had he declared, he likely would've been a late first-rounder. If he has a strong senior year, look for him to play his way higher.

Huh. Late first is significantly more optimistic than most mocks.

He's going to be a big player for us next year. Having 3 shooters on the wing will eliminate teams ability to shut us down via a zone. Our major weakness this year IMO

True, he is more of a scorer like Mark Lyons. Allen is a 30.5% 3 PT shooter against JC competition.

Tarc projected to go in the late 1st round is news to me. Everywhere said he'd get drafted late 2nd round or possibly not at all. Don't think Tarc would have stayed if he was gonna be a late first round pick.

Chad Ford and Joe Lunardi have mastered the art of masquerading bullshit opinion as fact.

There's better analysis on this board.

I had thought it was sure he was coming back until I read that Stanley/Kaleb article yesterday.

We need the big man back.

He has fallen off the draft chart: http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-mock-draft/2015/

I think he was up to #57 which gave him only a 10% chance of making a team.

And still, some "fans" will crap on Miller for not reaching the Final Four, despite likely producing a 4 year run Lute never did.

Remember when Lute's team had that stat, that for 16+years or whatever it was, if you came in and stayed till you were a senior, you were basically guaranteed to play in the Final Four? Let's have Tarc be the Senior who gets that started again.
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

So excited for Zeus' final year. :)

That is true, however, not to diminish anything Miller has done, when Lute won the NC in 97 the Cats only played 34 games. The last two Miller Elite 8 teams both finished with 38 games played.

Well done CSM in any event.
