Fuimaono is a 6-1, 288, Junior defensive lineman, from Kaneohe, Hawaii. He played in all 12 games as a true Freshman in 2011 before spending 2012 and 2013 on a missions trip. Sani returned last year having to get back into football shape as well as learn the 335 defense. He was slowed even more when he broke his foot just prior to the start of camp. He played in 9 games last season and started 4 as a nose tackle recording 15 tackles with 1 for a loss. Sani will be competing for the starting nose tackle position and should be a key part of the defensive line rotation.
99 is also the number of yards gained by Jared Baker last year on 25 carries as well as the number of solo tackles recorded by Scooby last year out of his total 163 tackles.
