Roster update

Noticed today that three of the players who practiced in the spring have been added to the official roster.

Kevin Hamlett a RS Freshman LB from Salpointe in Tucson.

Jarrett Mitchell a RS Freshman RB from Okinawa Japan whose search to get recruited got a lot of press last year.

Isaiah Strong a RS Sophomore CB from Shadow Mountain in Phoenix.

I'm guessing that means they will be the only off season walk-ons added to the team and I will stop talking about the others on the daily countdown.

Surprised we haven't seen the new Freshman on the roster yet. Most of them arrived last week and have already started summer classes and working out with the S+C coaches.

Vaguely has to do with the roster, but here is a story from Zona Zealots on incoming Freshman RB Orlando Bradford who has already run into fellow Chance Comanche on campus.

Orlando has plans on what he is going to work on during the summer, “Getting stronger and faster you are never good enough, I just want to work hard and be the best I can be.” He has put on some weight already, he is now 5’8 and 213 pounds.

He enjoys playing running back, “I just love doing the dirty work as a running back, it makes the game more interesting I want to do things other do not like.” His teammates are going to love him.

Roster won't be updated until media day here locally so don't expect it until sometime in late July.
