Most message boards have significantly more posters who predominantly 'lurk' and don't post much. We'd have about 10,000+ members if we accepted the spambot accounts and just left them with no posting/pm privileges. That's how a lot of board bolster their rosters to crow to users and advertisers.

At least most of our accounts are real people.
