Tread lightly, or I'm going to ban you to a single thread entitled "Mindless Musings Of A Fucktard".

Almost as butt hurt as you were at losing Zeus.enfuego wrote:How butt hurt are UA fans over losing Leaf?
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Re: TJ Leaf
Might've been covered already, but any chance Leaf ends up re-committing to AZ? A la Bayless?

I believe this falls into 97cats "zero chance".Beachcat97 wrote:Might've been covered already, but any chance Leaf ends up re-committing to AZ? A la Bayless?
Re: TJ Leaf
I don't think your question was ever answered, but by looking through the thread, I'm going to say it is York. If Miller had run York off the team or never played him, I might understand how the Compton Magic would be upset. This seems very petty on their part.Beachcat97 wrote:Which player is that?SCCats wrote:Ok well there it is.97cats wrote:the Compton Magic hates Sean Miller and Arizona like Derek Jeter hates herpes
Is the reason that's the case (basically) because a certain Compton Magic player on the team sometimes takes marginal shots and gets pulled because of it, or generally something else?

Yep, Arizona isn't even on Leaf's list any more.

Re: TJ Leaf
Miller was interviewed recently saying he doesn't pick the team at all, he just coaches it. Straight from the horses mouth, so take it for what it's worth.Catstatic wrote:Miller did not have the final say, but being the head coach his opinion carried the most weight. First warning light for me went off when Leaf didn't even make it to the final 15. Wouldn't be surprised if Miller knew something was in the works. Again, this is all speculation, but we're discussing this because it is so unusual.Chicat wrote:Miller didn't have the final say on the U19 roster. There was a committee that decided the roster, and Leaf just wasn't playing like one of the best 12 kids at the tryout.azcat49 wrote:I thijk Miller knew what was going on and cut him with purpose atvthe U19 tryouts.

I get Oregon. Seems like an incredible place to be a student athlete. But UCLA and SDSU? Not seeing it, not with all the other schools he could attend.

can't tell if you're being serious about not seeing why leaf would have ucla in the mix, but w/e:

Re: TJ Leaf
UCLA makes sense. I'm guessing Oregon and SDSU are just up there with no intent on going, maybe to make it seem like this wasn't an obvious "I'm dipping Arizona for UCLA." You're a fool if you go to SDSU as a top player right now with the eyes on Fisher and his sanctions. Oregon makes sense for the $$ (lulz), but they are a Nike school and I thought shoes were one of the (BS) reasons behind him decommitting
Re: TJ Leaf
I would be shocked if he does not end up at UCLA.

Re: Fallen Leaf
There's only one TJ relevant to Arizona, and he's playing for the 76ers right now.

Leaf is going to UCLA. Don't let bug fool you.
They should be good in '16, but if we get JJ, we'll be winning the Pac. Again. That can't be fun for bug.
